Yoga therapy adapts different Yoga techniques and practices to help individuals facing health challenges at any level manage their condition, reduce symptoms, restore balance, increase vitality, and improve attitude.
Yoga therapy focuses on the path of Yoga as a healing journey that brings balance to the body and mind through an experiential understanding of the primary intention of Yoga: awakening of Spirit, our essential nature.
Yoga Therapy comprises a wide range of mind/body practices, from postural and breathing exercises to deep relaxation and meditation. It helps to promote holistic positive health, as well as assisting particular medical conditions as it can be part of a specific treatment protocole.
Vinyasa yoga, an offshoot of Ashtanga Yoga, is a graceful practice that coordinates movement with the breath to flow from one pose to the next.
No two Vinyasa Yoga practices are similar, and the intensity can vary from a soft and introspective sequence, to a strong and challenging one. You will be able to increase muscle strength, endurance and flexibility, and reduce levels of stress, while at the same time, refocus, calm your mind and reach a state of total bliss!
If you want to break away from your routine and love a fluid practice, Vinyasa may be just your calling.
Power Yoga is a derivative of the Vinyasa Yoga practice, and enjoys many of the same qualities and benefits, including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility, as well as stress reduction.
While other forms of yoga may be ideal for flexibility and meditation, in Power Yoga, you lift and hold your entire body's weight constantly. These classes incorporate a serious number of Vinyasas, and they're definitely going to get your entire body into gear.
Power Yoga is definitely an intense workout that will make you sweat and make you feel energised since the sequences move with a faster rhythm. If you’re looking for a challenge, this practice is for you!
The practice of Yoga can be extremely beneficial during these blessed life-changing moments associated with pregnancy.
During your pre-natal yoga practice, you will be guided through a series of Asanas and breathing techniques to help you keep your muscles loose, feel relaxed and stay toned in complete mindfulness.
The Post-Natal sequences will accompany new mums in their transition into this new and joyful moment of their life, helping them to regain their core-strength, their figure and overall fitness after birth by restoring tone to the deep muscles of the pelvis and lower back.
Restorative yoga is all about healing the mind and body through simple poses often held for a long period of time, with the help of props such as bolsters, pillows and straps. This way, the body can experience the benefits of a pose without having to exert any effort.
It is ideal for athletic types who need to release tension in overworked joints, and it is also good for those who need to relax and soothe frayed nerves.
A good restorative class is more rejuvenating than a nap!
This class is especially designed to accommodate everyone, no matter your age or physical condition.
Yoga for all is all about healing the mind and body through simple poses, with the help of props such as cushions, blocs, straps, stool, chairs or wall. This way, we will help the body experience the benefits of a pose without having to exert any unnecessary effort.
